OMB Watch to Host Series of Panel Discussions
to Assess First Year of Obama Administration

WASHINGTON, Jan. 21, 2010—On Jan. 28, OMB Watch will launch a series of panel discussions designed to explore and assess the first year of the Obama administration.

What: "Obama at One Year" Webcast Series

OMB Watch will host four webcasts to evaluate President Obama’s first year in office. The discussions will feature distinguished policy experts who will bring their unique and specialized insights to the conversations. We invite the public and the media to join us for these panel discussions, either in person or at our online webcast headquarters. At the end of each discussion, panelists will take questions from both the in-person and online audiences.

Discussion topics in this "Obama at One Year" series will include government openness and accountability; crucial public protections and the administration's regulatory approach; implementation of the Recovery Act's transparency provisions; and lobbying and ethics reform.
