Hide No Harm Act Introduction
On July 16, 2014, Katherine McFate, president of the Center for Effective Government and co-chair of the Coalition for Sensible Safeguards, joined Sens. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) and Bob Casey (D-PA), as well as Robert Weissman of Public Citizen, at the introduction of the Hide No Harm Act. The legislation would hold corporate officials criminally responsible for hiding product or workplace safety hazards from agencies, workers, and members of the public they put at risk.
